Found of natural and smart fabrics, Pierre-Yves and Christine create their brand JagVi in 2012.
Who are you?
JAGVI created its first collection on summer 2013 on the borders of Annecy lake in France by the combination of two complementary profiles, Pierre-Yves and Christine. "Tailormade for smart travelers", the motto of the brand reflects the desire to put in his travel suitecase a contemporary menswear with smart design, making and fabrics, all natural or technical with elegant but simple details.
How did you start in fashion?
Originally, we are found of the minimalist product, smart and relaxed at the same time, the product which hits you with an emotion. JAGVI means "I and We" in Swedish, the idea of a convergent desire to create and of fashion from its two founders.
How would you define your style?
Minimalist and timeless design, powered by its fine fabrics and colors research. Well-fitted garments and high-end confort. A willingness to sustainability by the choice of fabrics from Europe and Japan
What inspires you?
In search of authenticity, JagVi is a brand that is inspired by travel and the world of photography in tribute to the history of its founders. Its values around the discovery, encounters and sharing have given the name "JagVi" to the brand. ("I" and "we" in Swedish).
What's your favorite piece in our selection?
The "chino pant ", a well-cut trousers with exceptional stretch cotton with a herringbone pattern that gives a the sensation of wellness of a worn sweater. But also our waterproof jackets MADE IN FRANCE with padding in goose feathers in the Pyrenees.
Where do you manufacture your products?
JagVi uses handcrafted manufacturing processes in France, Italy and Portugal with natural or technical fabrics from Europe and Japan.
